Pyritization in the Gaojiashan Biota

Abstract: The Late Sinian (Ediacaran) Gaojiashan Biota was a soft-bodied fossil-Lagerst tte dominated by substantial pyritized, three-dimensionally preserved tubular and conotubular fossils. Soft-tissue pyritization is extremely scarce in the fossil records, especially in the Precambrian, therefore it has very important and unique significance for the study of pyritization in the Gaojiashan Biota. Early pyritization played a pivotal role in the fossil preservation and two main factors ensured the successful pyritization of the fossils, namely rapid burial and permineralization. The former was controlled by secular storm deposition, and the latter was achieved by sufficient supply of available iron from sediments. SEM data of Conotubus demonstrate two types of preservation of the tubes (defined as type A and type B, respectively). In type A, pyritization took place relatively earlier and completely preserved both tube wall and coelom, but no detailed structure. While in type B, pyritization took place somewhat later and preserved the integrated tube wall, but partially the coelom. The size frequency distribution of the pyrite framboids suggests that pyritization took place in two different environments with entire different oxygen content.
Throughput Analysis of Large Wireless Networks with Regular Topologies

Abstract: The throughput of large wireless networks with regular topologies is analyzed under two medium-access control schemes: synchronous array method (SAM) and slotted ALOHA. The regular topologies considered are square, hexagon, and triangle. Both nonfading channels and Rayleigh fading channels are examined. Furthermore, both omnidirectional antennas and directional antennas are considered. Our analysis shows that the SAM leads to a much higher network throughput than the slotted ALOHA. The network throughput in this paper is measured in either bits-hops per second per Hertz per node or bits-meters per second per Hertz per node. The exact connection between the two measures is shown for each topology. With these two fundamental units, the network throughput shown in this paper can serve as a reliable benchmark for future works on network throughput of large networks.

On the Difference Between Omission Criminal Made and Accomplice

Abstract: There has been formed many viewpoints in criminal law world regarding the issue of how to distinguish omission criminal made and accomplice; in general, however, they can be classified into three categories of principle criminal made theory, principle accomplice theory, and compromise theory. Although these three types of viewpoints have both advantages and drawbacks as well; on the whole, they are unable to propose satisfactory answers on how to differentiate omission criminal made and accomplice. In view of this, author, with the hope to settle this issue, present his unique opinion from Pflichtdelikt and dominated committed perspective. Keywords: omission; criminal made; accomplice; dominated committed; Pflichtdelikt Résumé: Afin de faire la question de différenciation avec le complice d'inaction, des cercles de loi de chatiments ont formé un grand nombre de vues à ce sujet. Mais on peut diviser ces vues en trois catégories: le principe qui fait, le principe qui permet de faire et le principe qui compromet. Ces trois types de vue ont leurs avantages et leurs défauts. Pourtant, ces trois types de vue ne peuvent pas donner une réponse satisfaisante pour distinguer le complice d'inaction. Pour cette raison, dans l'espoir de résoudre ce problème, je voudrais faire l'introduction, l'évaluation et l'analyse de ces trois types de vues, et proposer mon propre point de vue de faire et de contr ler l'angle qui est fait volontairement. On the Joint Omission Principal

Abstract: There are three doctrines regarding the issue of the joint omission principal in academia of overall negative, said a comprehensive, and limited say. And all of these three doctrines have their own advantages and deficiencies as well, and all of them, in general, are unable to explain criminal phenomenon. It can scientifically demonstrate the issue of joint omission principal only from the perspectives of dominated committed and obligation committed. Joint omission principal can only be tenable in the omission field of dominated committed; and joint principal won’t be tenable in the filed of obligation committed or the field combined with both dominated committed and obligation committed. Et chacune de ces trois doctrines a leurs propres avantages et déficiences, et en général, elles sont tous incapables d'expliquer ce phénomène criminel. On peut démontrer scientifiquement la question de principe de négligence collective seulement du point de vue des dominés et de l'obligation. Le principe de négligence collective ne peut être tenable que dans le domaine de la négligence de dominés, et il ne sera pas tenable dans le domaine de l'obligation ou dans le domaine qui associe à la fois les dominés et l'obligation. Study on the Academic Value of theManuscript Fenmensuosuilu

Abstract: The book Fenmensuosuilu was written by Wen Ge, who lived in early time of the Southern Song Dynasty. It includes the enhanced parts of Chen Ye, a famous writer in the Mid-term of Southern Song. Most of the contents quoted by Sikuquanshu and other ancient books come from the original texts of Fenmensuosuilu. The agricultural part of Fenmensuosuilu enlarges agricultural work fields, and it has an active effect on establishing a greater agricultural framework. Most of items in this part reflect the actual agricultural situations between Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty, some of which can rewrite the conclusions of the agriculture history. It also provides more evidence for the research on some ancient books. It englobe des écrits de Chenye, un écrivain célèbre dans le mi-parcours de la dynastie Song du Sud. Sikuquanshu (四庫全書) et d'autres livres anciens ont cité des textes originaux de Fenmensuosuilu. La partie agricole' de Fenmensuosuilu élargit les domaines des travaux agricoles, et il a un effet actif sur la construction d'un cadre de l'agriculture à grande échelle. La plupart des articles dans cette partie reflètent la situation réelle de l'agriculture entre la dynastie Song et la dynastie Yuan, dont certains peuvent réécrire l'histoire de l'agricultre. Abstract: Objective: To explore the clinicpathologic features and MRI manifestations of the thoracic lumbar tuberculosis by underwenting MRI and pathological examinations. Methods: 34 cases of Thoracic lumbar tuberculosis were collected which underwent MRI examination and confirmed by pathology or treatment of anti-TB drugs, the clinical cure from June 2008 to June 2012 in our hospital. The first MRI was performed on all patients, to determine the MRI findings, and surgical treatment for pathological examination in order to determine the pathological features. Results: 34 patients with 81 vertebral involvement, in which two adjacent vertebral involvement is the common, accounting for 72.25%, vertebral showed uneven long T1, long T2 signal. Intervertebral disc abnormalities accounted for 90.17%, the performance showed long T1, long T2 signal changes in the intervertebral disc damage, often accompanied by disc space narrowing or disappear. Paraspinal abscess accounted for 90.67%, often more than vertebra, up and down across one or more vertebral bodies showed long T1, long T2 signal. The vertebrae were damaged kyphosis or (and) the posterior longitudinal ligament abscess caused by the dural sac and spinal column with pressure accounted for 74.72%. In enhanced scan, vertebrae, intervertebral discs showed heterogeneous enhancement, paraspinal abscess was curved or ring enhancement. The pathological diagnosis may be obvious to confirm the degree of swelling and lesions. Conclusion: By doing the MRI and pathologic examinations, it can determine the clinical and pathological features and MRI findings of spinal tuberculosis patients with Thoracic lumbar spinal tuberculosis, and lay a reliable foundation for the treatment of the subsequent treatment.

Abstract: The major envelope glycoprotein E of dengue (DEN) virus plays a central role in the biology of flaviviruses. It is capable of inducing a protective immune response in vivo and responsible for the viral binding to the cellular receptor. The crystal structures of glycoprotein E ectodomains have already been determined. However, it is still un-clear where the well-defined B-cell epitopes for glycoprotein E which induce the neutralizing an-tibodies locates. Thus, in order to characterize the role of glycoprotein E in the pathogenesis of dengue virus infection, we first used network servers (http://bio.dfci. harvard.edu/Tools/ & http://www. imtech. res. in) to predict and analyze the well defined B-cell and T-cell epitopes of the glycoprotein of the DEN-1 HAWAII strain. Then based on the highly conserved envelop glyco-protein amino acids, the hydrophilicity, antigenic-ity, accessibility and flexibility of envelop glyco-protein E were further predicted by using Biotic softwares (DNASTAR) and network servers (http://bio. dfci.harvard.edu/Tools/), the secondary structure was putatively obtained. In our study, the sequence at 281-295 amino acid (aa) for den-gue virus type 1 HAWAII strain and the sequence at 345-359, 383-397 for dengue virus type 2 NGC strain were predicted as the more prevalent epi-topes by using multiple parameters and different analysis softwares, respectively. Two epitopes of DEN-2 and one of DEN-1 locate on the domain Ш and domainⅡ of the protein E, respectively. Sub-sequently, further studies will be carried out to examine the antigenicity and protection of the synthetic peptides with higher scores in the av-erage antigen index (AI) and better hydrophilic properties determined by our data.
Proposal for a Loophole-Free Bell Test with Electron Spins of Donors in Silicon  [PDF]

Abstract: So far, all experimental tests of Bell inequalities which must be satisfied by all local realistic hidden-variable theories and are violated by quantum mechanical predictions have left at least one loophole open. We propose a feasible setup allowing for a loophole-free test of the Bell inequalities. Two electron spin qubits of donors31P in a nanoscale silicon host in different cavities 300 m apart are entangled through a bright coherent light and postselections using homodyne measurements. The electron spins are then read out randomly and independently by Alice and Bob, respectively, with unity efficiency in less than 0.7 µs by using optically induced spin to charge transduction detected by radio-frequency single electron transistor. A violation of Bell inequality larger than 37% and 18% is achievable provided that the detection accuracy is 0.99 and 0.95, respectively.
