Technological Procedure for Recycling of PET Waste for Sustainable Environment Concept Achievement  [PDF]

Abstract:
In this research, polyethylene terephthalate bottles (PET) waste was added to styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) to manufacture road bumps, as a technological procedure for recycling this PET waste, in order to maintain a clean and sustainable environment. Polyethylene terephthalate bottles were cut as grooved strips and added to bump SBR batch with various percentages (0 - 100 pphr). Mechanical tests were performed before and after the addition of PET waste including tensile strength, hardness, and resilience. Nanoparticles of carbon black, zinc oxide and sulfur were used, and compare the results with samples with micro particles additions. The result shows that the developed and manufactured bump SBR in this research conforms to the mechanical characteristics of the original bump model especially with nanoparticles additives, and the best results obtained with the nanoparticles additions.

Abstract:
In this article, particles of date seeds as a natural strengthening of the polyester resin and reinforcing percentages (1, 2, 3) wt% were used. For the purpose of comparison with the properties that were obtained in these composite materials reinforced by date seeds, particles have been manufacturing a composite material of the same resin reinforced particles calcium carbonate industrial, the same reinforcing percentages above. Results showed the samples that contain date seeds have a high resistance strain compared to models that contain calcium carbonate and this increase in tensile strength increases with the amount of particles date seeds, plus a big improvement in impact resistance samples have particles date seeds and increases with increasing reinforcement ratio compared with sample have calcium carbonate particles.

Abstract: premixed lean combustion is widely used in combustion processes due to the benefits of good flame stability and blowoff limits coupled with low nox emissions. however, the use of novel fuels and complex flows have increased the concern about flashback, especially for the use of syngas and highly hydrogen enriched blends. thus, this paper describes a combined practical and numerical approach to study the phenomenon in order to reduce the effect of flashback in a pilot scale 100 kw tangential swirl burner. natural gas is used to establish the baseline results and effects of different parameters changes. the flashback phenomenon is studied with the use of high speed photography. the use of a central fuel injector demonstrates substantial benefits in terms of flashback resistance, eliminating coherent structures that may appear in the flow channels. the critical boundary velocity gradient is used for characterization, both via the original lewis and von elbe formula and via analysis using cfd and investigation of boundary layer conditions in the flame front.

Abstract: This paper is a supplementary document for “Link Dynamics and Protocol Design in a Multi-Hop Mobile Environment” (ref. [1]), which presents an analytic model to obtain link lifetime in mobile wireless networks. The model outcome is used as groundwork for several mobility-related evaluations. Here, it is discussed how an improper assumption in the probabilistic model led to some errors in the resultant expressions. After a detailed description of the erratic assumption, a modification is proposed to correct the derivations. The results of the new model are verified by the simulation results provided at the original paper.

Abstract: Due to the rapid expansion of the technology field. Developing the Internet has become more urgent to meet the needs of the expansion. TCP/IP is the most protocol used in the Internet. It consists from layers, Each layer done its job separately. However these layers susceptible to different attacks and data link layer one of the most layers targeted by attacker, Attack at lower layer may lead to more sophisticated attacks to upper layers like Man in The Middle (MiTM), DNS spoofing and Denial of Service (DoS). Even with encrypted protocols such as HTTPS and SSL. In this paper we discuss security at the Data Link Layer and the attacks depend on the Address resolution protocol (ARP). Moreover proposed an approach to prevent address resolution protocol attacks, finally, we conclude at section 5.

Abstract: ZnO ceramic samples as pellets have been prepared and doped with (1, 2.5, 5, 10 wt%) of MgO powder, sintering at 1300?C, these samples have been treated with laser at 400 J/cm2. X-ray diffraction spectra of the samples show some changes in the X-ray parameters, where d-spacing and the intensities of the peaks are changed. FWMH of all the samples was altered due to MgO dopant and the laser influence microstructure was affected by the laser treatment, also, the texture coefficient is affected.

Abstract: Aim: The present study aims to evaluate the occurrence and characterize E. coli in meat and meat products marketed in Egypt based on their antimicrobial-resistance pattern and production of enterotoxins. Methods: A total of 250 meat samples, categorized as 80 fresh beef, 85 ground beef and 85 beef burger purchased from supermarkets and butchers’ shops were used for isolation of E. coli. All isolates were screened for antimicrobial susceptibility. Plasmid profile analyses were done. Polymerase chain reactions were performed for detection of enterotoxin-encoding genes (astA, eaeA, stx1 and stx2). Results: Twenty-five samples were isolated and identified as E. coli. 14 isolates were multidrug resistant. Plasmids isolation from all isolates revealed that 76% of these isolates harbored plasmids. astA gene was amplified in 7 isolates (28%). Eight (32%) isolates harbored eaeA gene. However, none of the isolates harbored stx1 or stx2 genes. Analysis of multiple drug resistant isolates revealed a significant relation between multiple drug resistance and both astA and eaeA. Abstract: Advantage of cell phones and their rapid progress on facilities and applications, made a technical trend to develop software implementations for this kind of systems. On the other hand, Java package with some efficient tools and products made it quite desirable for producers in a wide range of applications. In this paper the Bluetooth technology has been studied and its defects and premiums and security threats are investigated and compared with other technologies. Finally a comprehensive information system is designed, simulated and implemented based on cell phone communications. This system actually utilizes the Bluetooth technology to send and receive variety of packets such as data, image, and sound between computer and cell phone. These transferred data are then processes at the either sides and the revealed data is presented to the user. Wide 100 meter coverage has been considered for this system utilizing advanced automatic traffic management routines.
