Abstract: this article analyzes a series of examples of intervention in spanish mining heritage, with the purpose of preserving this patrimony, while its cultural and touristic development takes place at the same time. to understand how it has been possible that the society assumed the patrimonial value of this industrial heritage, the evolution of the concept of heritage and landscape is briefly explained, analyzing the changes produced in both concepts and raising that the mining patrimony finds it real sense of existence based on the new idea of landscape following the definition included in the convention of florence. this is due to the specific characteristics of mining heritage, which on one hand distinguish it as unique within the field of industrial heritage, but on the other hand, imply that new models and concepts of musealization are needed. the mining park of rio tinto (province of huelva, andalucía) and the mining park of almadén (province of ciudad real, castilla-la mancha) are the examples here analyzed, for which the landscape and the relation with human activities have been the axes of their musealization and touristic development, while the mining landscape of ojos negros has been turned into a scenery for contemporary artistic activities, creating a different way of intervening in this landscape and of promoting its recovery for society.

Abstract: in this article, we describe an academic genre that has proved to be relevant in disciplinary knowledge construction at university level: disciplinary text. this genre has emerged as one of the most frequent means of written communication in the pucv-2006 academic corpus, in three different university programs: social work, psychology, and construction engineering. the analysis of 270 texts revealed the persuasive communicative purpose of the genre, which is realized by three macro-moves, eight rhetorical moves and eighteen steps. results also showed relevant variations between social sciences and humanities and basic sciences and engineering in the rhetorical organization of the genre. one of the main implications is that this genre presents different ways of negotiating knowledge depending on the discipline in which it is used.

Abstract: the article calls attention to the importance of the emotional disposition of teachers to carry out the chilean educational reform. teachers are faced with a change of paradigm which also implies a change in the professional duties which require a previous acceptance of those involved: the characterization of old-fashioned pedagogical practices that must be abandoned and the explicitation of attitudes, strategies and methods that are desirable, imply a sort of devalue of the habitual work of teachers. paying attention to this aspect can contribute to the success of the innovation, lowering the resistance to change. the authors give some instances of experiences carried out with this purpose.

Abstract: this paper is part of a research project about the natural history of the emerging language in early childhood, in two different cultures: middle class of santiago and mapuche rural culture in the south of chile, based on humberto maturana's theory of language. it provides a general overview of the research, includes some results of a comparative study of humberto maturana's theory of language with basic ideas of current tendencies in psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and psychology, and relates some interpretations of the first coordinations of consensual actions or doings which we have observed in the pre-linguistic interaction in the child of the study group. our goal is to contribute toward the enlargement of our perspective and understanding of diversity in education.

Abstract: this paper is part of a line of investigation which is still in progress, about the emerging language and the construction of the world in early childhood, the initial meanings, and the preliminary comparison between the interactional contexts of the classrooms which there attend the children of the group of study, who belong to two different cultures: middle class of santiago city and mapuche rural culture of south of chile. it provides a general overview of the research and relates some interpretations of the first entities that emerging in language in relational instances that bear a special significance for beginner?s education and some comparative aspects of the characteristics of interaction in the classroom. our goal is enlarge our perspective and understanding of diversity and to contribute to the pedagogical work with diversity in education, especially in teacher?s formation.

Abstract: through the concepts of social memory, identity, and lieux de mémoire, this article analyzes how chuquicamatinas, after their city was closed and community displaced, managed to reconstruct their identity and strengthen their memory in a place completely foreign to what they were used to. to do so, community members were asked their perceptions and opinions of this change and what it has meant to them. in their accounts, it is possible to see how, in periods of dispute and crisis, societies tend to become introspective and turn their attention to the essence of their identities. questions about what happened and who they are raised a series of issues that they had ceased to be asked.
Historicidad e irreversibilidad en la concepción prigoginiana y agustiniana del tiempo

Abstract: the essay compares the notions of "historicity" and "irreversibility" in the prigoginean and agustinian conceptions, establishing likenesses and differences. it analyzes the agustinian idea of the temporality following the book eleventh of the confessions, and the interpretations of paul ricoeur and jean guitton. it analyzes, next, the redefinition of the "time" formulated by ilya prigogine, differentiating it, fundamentally, from the static or geometric conception of the newton's dynamic. it shows that this re-conceptualization differentiates it from the classic physics and brings it nearer to the agustinian idea of the time, as that, in both authors, the "irreversibility", "historicity", "novelty", "event" and "creativity" notions are crucial to understand the temporality. finally, it is shown here the differences between both authors: while st. agustin fundamentally refers to a human or existential time, in which a clearing sense of the transcendency is present, prigogine refers to the time of the dynamics and the thermodynamics, of the irreversible processes receded from the equilibrium, and certainly in a physical immanent sense.
