The ferroelectric thin films of SrBi2Ta2O9 prepared using pulsed laser deposition

Abstract: In summary, the SBT thin films have been fabricated on the Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrate by the pulsed laser deposition. The dominant peak of the SBT thin film is (115). The SBT thin films showP r of 8.4 μC/cm2,E c of 57 kV/cm and a well-saturated hysteresis loop at 5 V. The results of fatigue measurement indicate that the SBT material has the characteristic of excellent fatigue resistance.
Sequential conformation change and activation of chicken liver dihydrofolate reductase in low concentration of guanidine hydrochloride

Abstract: The conformation changes of dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) from chicken liver in guanidine hydrochloride were monitored by protein intrinsic fluorescence, hydrophobic fluorescence probe TNS and limited proteolysis by proteinase K. The kinetics of the enzyme denaturation were also studied and compared with its activity changes. It was indicated by the enhanced fluorescence of 2-p-toluidinylnaphthalene (TNS) that a subtle conformational change of the enzyme in dilute GuHCl parallels GuHCl-induced activation. At GuHCl concentration higher than 0. 75 mol/L, the conformational change can be detected by increased susceptibility of the enzyme to proteinase K, but no significant gross conformational change of the enzyme molecule is observed by intrinsic fluorescence up to a GuHCl concentration of 1.2 mol/L. The results suggest that the denaturation of DHFR by GuHCl does not follow strictly the two-state model. The enzyme seems to open up sequentially with increasing concentrations of denaturants, mainly at the active site first, until to a critical concentration of the denaturant the overall conformation change of the molecule may occur cooperatively. Activation of DHFR in low GuHCl concentration is due to the subtle conformational change at the active site of the enzyme. Although the conformational change at the active site decreases the affinity of the enzyme for the substrates, it accelerates the velocity of the limiting step in the catalytic reaction, i.e. the velocity of the dissociation of products from the ternary complex.

Abstract: 用大束流(50μA/cm~2)、高剂量(1.8×10~(18)/cm~2)的190keV N~+注入Si〈100〉中,然后在SiO_2覆盖保护下于1220℃退火二小时形成SOI结构.为了增加SOI材料上层单晶Si的厚度以应用于器件制作,将退火得到的SOI样品经化学处理后作外延生长.外延后获得的SOI材料,上层单晶Si厚度为0.8-1.0μm;Si_3N_4埋层的厚度为2800A;上、下Si-Si_3N_4界面陡峭.测试分析结果表明,利用N~+注入与气相外延生长能获得质量好的SOI材料.

Abstract: The physical and electrical properties of BF+2 implanted polysilicon film subjected to rapid thermal annealing (RTA) are presented. It is found that the out diffusion of F and its segregation at polysilicon/silicon oxide interface during RTA are the major causes of F anomalous migration. Fluorine bubbles were observed in BF+2 implanted samples at doses of 1×1015 and 5×1015cm-2 after RTA.
Preparation of activated carbon from cattail and its application for dyes removal

Abstract: Activated carbon was prepared from cattail by H3PO4 activation. The e ects influencing the surface area of the resulting activated carbon followed the sequence of activated temperature > activated time > impregnation ratio > impregnation time. The optimum condition was found at an impregnation ratio of 2.5, an impregnation time of 9 hr, an activated temperature of 500°C, and an activated time of 80 min. The Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area and average pore size of the activated carbon were 1279 m2/g and 5.585 nm, respectively. A heterogeneous structure in terms of both size and shape was highly developed and widely distributed on the carbon surface. Some groups containing oxygen and phosphorus were formed, and the carboxyl group was the major oxygen-containing functional group. An isotherm equilibrium study was carried out to investigate the adsorption capacity of the activated carbon. The data fit the Langmuir isotherm equation, with maximum monolayer adsorption capacities of 192.30 mg/g for Neutral Red and 196.08 mg/g for Malachite Green. Dye-exhausted carbon could be regenerated e ectively by thermal treatment. The results indicated that cattail-derived activated carbon was a promising adsorbent for the removal of cationic dyes from aqueous solutions.

Abstract: 用傅里叶红外吸收谱对不同热处理条件下的SOI样品进行了系统的分析,结果表明:对于190keV,1.8×10~(18)/cm~2N~+注入的样品,在低于1100℃的温度下退火可保持氮化硅埋层的无定形态,而~1200℃热退火则导致氮化硅埋层的结晶成核现象。对于200keV,1.8×10~(18)/cm~2O~+注入的样品,氧化硅埋层的形成是连续渐变的,注入的氧化硅埋层向常规的热氧化非晶态SiO_2转变的激活能为0.13eV。
Progress in phototaxis mechanism research and micromanipulation techniques of algae cells

Abstract: Phototactic movement is a characteristic of some microorganisms' response to light environment. Most of the algae have dramatically phototactic responses, underlying the complicated biological, physical and photochemical mechanisms are involved. With the development of the micro/nano and sensor techniques, great progress has been made in the research of the algae phototaxis. This review article summarizes the progress made in the research on the functional phototactic structures, the mechanisms of photo-response process and photodynamics of phototaxis in algae, and describes the latest developed micro-tracking technique and micromanipulation technique. Moreover, based on our own research results, the potential correlation between the phototaxis and photosynthesis is discussed, and the directions for future research of the phototactic mechanism are proposed.

Abstract: After the establishment of the transformation conditions ofStreptomyces diastaticus No.7 Strain M1033, the integration plasmid pXW for homologous recombination, which contains a 600 bp fragment of incompleteGI (G138P. G247D) gene, has been constructed in order to realize the stable overexpression of theGI (G138P. G247D) which is valuable for large-scale industrial production. The Gigene’s disruption has been realized by pXW’s integration into M1033 chromosomes via homologous recombination andGI deficient strain ofStreptomyces M1033 has been obtained. The reliability of introduction of mutation has been proved by analysis of recombinant fragment and affirmance of existence of the mutation, as well as detection of the stability of the deficient strain.
