Prototipo de texto académico como producto de la actividad metalingüística del docente de la UPEL

Abstract: the present research had as a goal designing constructing a prototype of an academic text written. the idea was to help teachers, from universidad pedagógica experimental libertador-instituto pedagógico de maracay, to start, complete and divulge their research by creating a set of guidelines. many academic papers presuppose a reader familiar with the scientific discipline. this research used the qualitative paradigm under the hermeneutic method. in addition, it was framed by the special project model. in order to carry out the research twelve volunteer teachers from upel-maracay in the study. the only condition to be part of the study was to be a regular active or retired teacher. the prototype was tested by writing texts to be used as conference papers. the prototype is based on: a) the teacher?s need to create a textual product that serves the pragmatic function; and b) the possibility of offering methodological instructions in order to write a text.

Abstract: this article evaluates applying the concept of gender to teaching through different instructional text. as a first step the classification of such text is based upon the human need to categorized information according to the cultural context and the multiple situations in which communication occurs (halliday, 1991; swales, 1990; berkenkotter y huckin, 1995; bathia, 2002/2004). in this particular case, the instructional text ocupéis a significant place in human daily routines. this fact determines the need to define their contextual focus based on three properties: efficiency, effectiveness, and adequacy. (beaugrande y dressler, 2003). the investigation proposes, first, a methodology that departs from de need to analyze the situation in which communication takes place and, second, an understanding of the teaching of the mother tongue taking into account the genders used by the discursive community. the study concludes arguing that the texts (specially the instructional ones) are constructed as gender examples that respond appropriately to specific social conventions.

Abstract: the main objective of this research is to appraise the effectiveness of a set of didactic strategies for the comprehension of texts. the work was done according to the interests and necessities of a group of students of the subject mother language teaching, from the spanish department of the universidad pedagógica experimental libertador (maracay). as theoretic basements were used the comprehension of texts and didactic strategies of goodman, cassany, luna y sanz, díaz y hernández, among other authors. respect to the methodology the work was done according to the perspective of action investigation, through the modality of a feasible project. for the data recollection were used the anecdotic registration and the field notes, as well as magnetophonic recordings. the conclusion was that the didactic strategies used allowed the consolidation of levels of inference, evaluation and appreciation of texts.

Abstract: this research work explains the complexity of spontaneous writing of children in basic education and the use of computers as didactic resources. the main aim was to develop the process of written composition through the use of computers with 32 children of third grade of basic education at the u. e. ?eutimio rivas? in maracay, aragua state, venezuela. to do so, the pragmatic theory developed by? beugrande and dressler (1997) was considered in terms of the conditions of efficacy, effectiveness and adequacy that a written text should fulfill. finally, the role of conscious training of communicative competence is proposed as well as its intermediary relation among the apprentices.
