CARACTERIZACIóN DE LA MATERIA ORGáNICA DEL HORIZONTE SUPERFICIAL DE UN ANDISOL HIDROMóRFICO DEL ORIENTE ANTIOQUE?O (COLOMBIA)
Jaramillo Jaramillo,Daniel Francisco;
Revista de la Academia Colombiana de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales , 2011,
Abstract: a study was carried out to determine the soil organic matter content and characteristics from a surface horizon of an aquatic moisture regime andisol. most of the mos was constituted by nonhumic organic materials with low degree of evolution. the content of organic-mineral complexes in this surface horizon was low. the a horizon exhibited a considerable thickness (31.2 cm), dark color, high mos (17.65 %), higher content of humic acids than fulvic acids, low e4/e6 ratio (3.55) and low im (1615). the humic acids showed low values of δlog k (0.54) and rf (17.58). the humic fraction of the mos was constituted by high molecular weight humic acids that had low degree of both polymerization and condensation of aromatic compounds. the humic acids of all samples corresponded to the p-type, mostly po-type. the accumulation and limited evolution of mos was seems to be associated with the wet cold weather, restricted soil drainage and relief of field.
VARIABILIDAD ESPACIAL DE LAS PROPIEDADES áNDICAS DE UN ANDISOL HIDROMóRFICO DEL ORIENTE ANTIOQUE?O (COLOMBIA)
Jaramillo Jaramillo,Daniel Francisco;
Revista Facultad Nacional de Agronomía, Medellín , 2009,
Abstract: the spatial variability of some andic properties of the surface horizon in an andisol with aquic moisture regime was studied. most of the properties presented high variability and asymmetry, and strong spatial tendency in their distribution values. few variables presented spatial variability but, it was high and of short range where it was presented.
EFECTO DE LA VARIABILIDAD SISTEMáTICA EN EXPERIMENTOS DE FERTILIZACIóN CON FRíJOL. PRIMERA SIEMBRA
Jaramillo Jaramillo,Daniel Francisco;
Revista Facultad Nacional de Agronomía, Medellín , 2005,
Abstract: an evaluation was made of the possible impact of structured variability on the production of two varieties of beans by means of spatial tendency and semi-variography analyses of the results of analyses of variance in an organic fertilization experiment and with micro-organisms, in the first sowing, in a completely randomized experimental design with seven treatments and four replications, conducted in the ?la selva? research center of corpoica, rionegro munincipality, eastern antioquia-colombia. a differential effect based on bean variety was found of the structured variability on the results of the analyses of variance. in the ica viboral variety, the anova conducted on the original data did not show significant treatment effects on production, but upon eliminating spatial tendency and variability components, the anova detected that in fact there were highly significant treatment effects on production. to the contrary, the variety corpoica 106 showed no significant treatment effects for neither the original data of with the residuals of the spatial tendency and variability analyses. this pattern resulted both when working with central meter production of the furrow or with the entire furrow. the specific effect of each treatment in the analysis of variance also was distorted upon eliminating spatial components of the variability. based upon the results of this study, we can recommend that in sites to be used for farm research, detailed studies of soil properties related to production should be made, in which knowledge of its spatial variability is included, so that adequate interpretations of the tests conducted in them may be made.
VARIABILIDAD ESPACIAL DE LAS PROPIEDADES QUíMICAS DEL EPIPEDóN DE UN ANDISOL HIDROMóRFICO DEL ORIENTE ANTIOQUE?O (COLOMBIA)
Jaramillo Jaramillo,Daniel Francisco;
Revista Facultad Nacional de Agronomía, Medellín , 2008,
Abstract: the spatial variability of some chemical properties of the epipedon in an andisol with aquic humidity regime was studied. the most properties presented a high spatial dependence (c/sill>50%) and a relatively short range average ( 20 m), possibly caused by the intensive use of soil that has involved the application of fertilizers and amendments.
EFECTO DE LA VARIABILIDAD SISTEMáTICA DE LA PRODUCCIóN DE FRíJOL EN EXPERIMENTOS DE FERTILIZACIóN. SEGUNDA SIEMBRA.
Jaramillo Jaramillo,Daniel Francisco;
Revista Facultad Nacional de Agronomía, Medellín , 2006,
Abstract: an evaluation was made on the impact that systematic variability could have on the production of two varieties of beans, by means of analysis of spatial tendency and semi-variography, on the results of the analyses of variance of an experiment of organic fertilization and with microorganisms in a second sowing. the experimental design was a complete random blocks design with 7 treatments and 4 replications, located in ?la selva? research center of corpoica, rionegro, eastern antioquia - colombia . a differential effect was found in the varieties of beans. in the ica viboral variety, the analysis conducted showed significant effects of the treatments on production. in the variety corpoica 106 there was no spatial variability, nor was there any significant effect of the treatments or of the blocks, with either the original data or with the residual analyses of spatial tendency and variability. the specific effect of each treatment in the analysis of variance was distorted when the components of the variability were eliminated. with the observations in this study, it is possible to recommend that in sites that are going to be used for farming research, detailed soil surveys should be made, in which the knowledge of spatial variability is included, in order to be able to make proper interpretations of the tests conducted in them.
HUMEDAD CRíTICA Y REPELENCIA AL AGUA EN ANDISOLES COLOMBIANOS BAJO COBERTURA DE Pinus patula Schltdl y Cham
Jaramillo Jaramillo,Daniel Francisco;
Revista Facultad Nacional de Agronomía, Medellín , 2005,
Abstract: in a stand with andisoles planted with pinus patula schltdl and cham, 4 transects were established for horizontal sampling every 5 cm in 4 depths to establish whether there was a transition zone for critical humidity in the soil that could determine the presence of water repellency in it. determinations of wdpt were made in the field and later on samples dried at 35 °c in the laboratory. for each condition, the gravimetric content of humidity of each sample was determined and these contents were compared to their corresponding wdpt. the soils presented high humidity contents, both in the field and when dried at 35 °c. most of the sites were humidified in the field, but upon drying the samples at 35 °c, the majority of them from the first three pit depths became strongly water repellent. both properties were highly variability. in some pit depths of some transects it was possible to define, precariously, critical areas of humidity for water repellency, but upon attempting to generalize this area for the entire transect profile, it was impossible to define.

The spatial variability of some andic properties of the surface horizon in an Andisol with aquic moisture regime was studied. Most of the properties presented high variability and asymmetry, and strong spatial tendency in their distribution values. Few variables presented spatial variability but, it was high and of short range where it was presented.
HUMEDAD CRíTICA Y REPELENCIA AL AGUA EN ANDISOLES COLOMBIANOS BAJO COBERTURA DE Pinus patula Schltdl y Cham CRITICAL MOISTURE AND WATER REPELLENCY OF COLOMBIAN ANDISOLS COVERED WITH Pinus patula Schltdl and Cham

In a stand with Andisoles planted with Pinus patula Schltdl and Cham, 4 transects were established for horizontal sampling every 5 cm in 4 depths to establish whether there was a transition zone for critical humidity in the soil that could determine the presence of water repellency in it.
The spatial variability of some chemical properties of the epipedon in an Andisol with aquic humidity regime was studied. The most properties presented a high spatial dependence (C/Sill>50%) and a relatively short range average ( 20 m), possibly caused by the intensive use of soil that has involved the application of fertilizers and amendments.
