A Finite-Dimensional Integrable System Related to the Complex 3 × 3 Spectral Problem and the Coupled Nonlinear Schr?dinger Equation  [PDF]

Abstract:

The relation between the 3 × 3 complex spectral problem and the associated completely integrable system is generated. From the spectral problem, we derived the Lax pairs and the evolution equation hierarchy in which the coupled nonlinear Schr?dinger equation is included. Then, with the constraints between the potential function and the eigenvalue function, using the nonlineared Lax pairs, a finite-dimensional complex Hamiltonian system is obtained. Furthermore, the representation of the solution to the evolution equations is generated by the commutable flows of the finite-dimensional completely integrable system.

Abstract:
The construction of one’s knowledge and ideas is subject to social structure and culture. According to the analysis of principles of sociology of knowledge, the mission of Open University of China is building a knowledge system. In light of the path to acquiring objective realism and subject constructionism, teacher knowledge covers practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge. Based on the analysis of sociology of knowledge, the teachers of Open University of China should be equipped with modern educational technology knowledge, subject knowledge, adult education knowledge, TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge), project management knowledge and so on.

Abstract:
Core competence of senior citizen education teachers can play an important role in defining professional standards of senior citizen education teachers, becoming a professional threshold, measuring the core of teachers’ professional development, assessing the current performance management, and being the tool for teachers’ self-evaluation. The index system of core competence of senior citizen education teachers covers concept, knowledge and ability. The paper, based on the analysis of connotations and construction of these three indexes, perfects some rules and legal safeguard system to promote senior citizen education teachers’ core competence, constructs the training system of cultivating senior citizen education teachers, and puts forward some strategies of encouraging senior citizen education teachers’ professional development, so as to provide an enlightenment for measures to develop senior citizen education teachers’ professional development.
Binaurality and azimuth tuning of neurons in the auditory cortex of the big brown bat

Abstract: By using a combined closed and free-field stimulation system, binaurality and azimuth tuning of the neurons in the auditory cortex of the big brown bat,Eptesicus fuscus, were studied. A variety of azimuth-tuning functions were demonstrated for the binaural neurons. The large majority of EE (contralateral and ipsilateral excitatory) neurons exhibited azimuth selectivity with the best azimuths (BA) at contralateral 30°–40°, some at ipsilateral 20°-40° and preferred azimuth ranges (PAR, response amplitude 75% of maximum) between 8° and 40°. Sound source azimuths strongly modulate spike counts with a mean modulation depth of 83.8% for EE neurons. EI (contralateral excitatory and ipsilateral inhibitory) neurons have simple azimuth tuning with BA located at contralateral 20°-40° and a broad PAR ranged from 30° to 55°. The present results suggest that azimuth-tuning characteristics of binaural neurons in the auditory cortex of the bat are of significance for acoustic behaviour.

Role of frequency band integration in sharpening frequency tunings of the inferior colliculus neurons in the big brown bat,Eptesicus fuscus

Abstract: By means of a particular two-tone stimulation paradigm in combination of using a pair of electrodes for simultaneously recording from two inferior colliculus (IC) neurons, the currentin vivo study is undertaken to explore the role of frequency band integration (FBI) in sharpening of frequency tuning in the big brown bat,Eptesicus fuscus. Three major results are found: (1) The paired neurons correlated to FBI are located not only within the same frequency filter bandwidth (FFB), but also across different FFBs. The relations of their frequency tuning curves (FTCs) are mainly of two types: the flank-overlapped and overlaid patterns. (2) Although the sharpness of FTCs between paired neurons is mutual, the sharpening efficiency of neurons located within the same FFB is higher than that of neurons across FFBs, and the FTCs of neurons with the best frequencies (BF) of 20 –30 kHz are most strongly sharpened. (3) The strength of FBI is weak near the BF but gradually increased with frequencies away from the BF of sound stimuli. This suggests that the dynamical FBI of the IC neurons located within and across the FFBs might be involved in the formation of functional FFB structures.

One-step disposal of Cr (VI)-bearing wastewater by natural pyrrhotite

Abstract: Cr(VI)-bearing wastewater can be treated by natural pyrrhotite which is used for reductant to reduce Cr(VI) and precipitant to precipitate Cr(III) simultaneously. The disposal products can be divided into three parts in the beakers, namely supernatant in the upper part, the yellowish colloidal precipitates in the middle part and the pyrrhotite in the lower part. The content of total Cr=Cr(VI)+Cr(III) in the supernatant liquid is 0.06 mg/L, which is lower than 1.5 mg/L of the discharge standard of China and near to 0.05 mg/L of the standard of potable water. This one-step disposal composing of both reduction and precipitation which is traditionally divided into two independent steps called reducing technology and precipitating technology respectively. The new method is of obvious economic advantage and favourable to decreasing surplus mud derived from adding Ca(OH)2 to precipitate Cr(III) traditionally so as to avoid recontamination. In fact, sodium sulfite (Na2SO3) used in disposal of Cr(VI) was traditionally produced from natural mineral of pyrrhotite (FeS). One molecule of FeS is 4 times more than that of Na2SO3 from a view point of rational use of mineral resources. Therefore the prospective of application of the one-step disposal of Cr(VI) method is full of promise.

Abstract: The Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplacian equation on the upper half plane can be solved by natural boundary element method, but it is very difficult to solve its singular integral. In this paper, we propose a Hermite cubic spline multi-wavelet natural boundary element method. The Hermite cubic spline multi-wavelet has shorter tight collection, better stability and good explicit expression. Moreover, their derivatives on different levels are mutual orthogonal. Accordingly, taking advantage of Galerkin-wavelet method in discretizing the natural boundary integral equation and integral of the natural boundary element method with the above-mentioned, this paper makes the strongly singular integral of the natural boundary equations change into the weakly singular integral, so the problem is simplified. A numerical example is shown and the feasibility and validity of the method are proved.
Signature of Circulating MicroRNAs as Potential Biomarkers in Vulnerable Coronary Artery Disease

Abstract: Aims MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases. Circulating miRNAs were recently identified as biomarkers for various physiological and pathological conditions. In this study, we aimed to identify the circulating miRNA fingerprint of vulnerable coronary artery disease (CAD) and explore its potential as a novel biomarker for this disease. Methods and Results The Taqman low-density miRNA array and coexpression network analyses were used to identify distinct miRNA expression profiles in the plasma of patients with typical unstable angina (UA) and angiographically documented CAD (UA group, n = 13) compared to individuals with non-cardiac chest pain (control group, n = 13). Significantly elevated expression levels of miR-106b/25 cluster, miR-17/92a cluster, miR-21/590-5p family, miR-126*, and miR-451 were observed in UA patients compared to controls. These findings were validated by real-time PCR in another 45 UA patients, 31 stable angina patients, and 37 controls. In addition, miR-106b, miR-25, miR-92a, miR-21, miR-590-5p, miR-126* and miR-451 were upregulated in microparticles (MPs) isolated from the plasma of UA patients (n = 5) compared to controls (n = 5). Using flow cytometry and immunolabeling, we further found that Annexin V+ MPs were increased in the plasma samples of UA patients compared to controls, and the majority of the increased MPs in plasma were shown to be Annexin V+ CD31+ MPs. The findings suggest that Annexin V+ CD31+ MPs may contribute to the elevated expression of the selected miRNAs in the circulation of patients with vulnerable CAD. Conclusion The circulating miRNA signature, consisting of the miR-106b/25 cluster, miR-17/92a cluster, miR-21/590-5p family, miR-126* and miR-451, may be used as a novel biomarker for vulnerable CAD.
