New Oscillation Results for Forced Second Order Differential Equations with Mixed Nonlinearities  [PDF]

Abstract: Some new oscillation criteria are given for forced second order differential equations with mixed nonlinearities by using the generalized variational principle and Riccati technique. Our results generalize and extend some known oscillation results in the literature.

Abstract: There is a language relationship, ancedentaly, between Turkish and Arabic. It is known that Arabic has affected Turkish. So has Turkish, even not as much as Arabic. IMP 8 magnetosheath field comparisons with models

Abstract: This study presents cross-sectional vector maps of the magnetic field derived from IMP 8 magnetometer in the magnetosheath at 30 Re behind the Earth. In addition the vector patterns of the magnetosheath field for northward, southward, and east-west interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) directions are qualitatively compared with those obtained from the Spreiter-Stahara gas dynamic (GD) and Fedder-Lyon magnetohydrodynamic models (MHD). The main purpose is to display the cross-sectional differences in relation to the dayside merging with different IMF directions, allowing the reader to make direct visual comparisons of the vector patterns. It is seen that for east-west IMF directions, the data-based and MHD-based patterns differ noticeably in a similar way from the GD model, presumably reflecting the influence of dayside magnetic merging of the Earth's magnetic field with the y-component of the interplanetary magnetic field. All three northward IMF cross sections show comparable field draping patterns as expected for a closed magnetosphere. For southward IMF case, on the other hand, differences between the three cross-sectional patterns are greater as seen in the field vector sizes and directions, especially closer to the magnetopause where more disturbed magnetospheric conditions are known to be exist. The data comparisons with the MHD and GD models show that the differences result from the magnetic field-flow coupling and that the effects of dayside reconnection are present in IMP 8 magnetic field measurements. Performance Feedback: Individual Based Reflections and the Effect on Motivation

Abstract: There is also enough scientific research proved the positive effect of performance on motivation. The common idea is that the performance feedback improve the technical and behavioral effectiveness of employees which then reflect on the job motivation. Around this idea, performance feedback effect motivation via reducing the performance ambiguity, improving the manager-subordinate relationships, making more easy to achieve goals, supporting the personal development and adapting to change. In this article, the effect of performance feedback on motivation is examined arround this stated five different variables. The research result indicated that the only reducing performance ambiguity have positive effect on motivation.
The Effects of Job Rotation Practices on Motivation: A Research on Managers in the Automotive Organizations

Abstract: Job rotation is a job design approach widely used by many companies at various hierarchical levels. By adopting the human structure of the company with technical processes, job rotation is the consequence of effort and determination. In Turkey it can be said that it is companies with a majority of foreign capital who have successfully applied this technique with the aim of improving workers performance. To reach this goal the first condition is to ensure that job rotation practices generate the expected effect on an employee’s motivation. From this angle, decreasing monotony, preparing the employee for management, defining the most productive job/position and increasing the level of knowledge and skills are the functions by which the said motivational effect will be achieved. Consequently this study aimed to test the established hypothesis expressed as ‘job rotation practices have a positive effect on motivation’. In this context, the research results verified that job rotation applications effect motivation.

Abstract: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a rare, fatal and progressive disease. There is an acceleration in the advent of new therapies in parallel to the development of the knowledge about etiogenesis and pathogenesis of PAH. Therefore, to optimize the goals of PAH-specific treatment and to determine the time to shift from monotherapy to combination therapy, simple, objective and reproducible end-points, which may predict the disease severity, progression rate and life expectancy are needed. The adventure of end points in PAH has started with six minute walk distance and functional capacity, and continues with new parameters (biochemical marker, time to clinical worsening, echocardiography and magnetic resonance imaging etc.), which can better reflect the clinical outcome.
Avulsion fracture of the anterior inferior iliac spine in an uncommon way: A rare case

Abstract: Apophyseal anterior inferior iliac spine fractures are rareinjuries. They most commonly occur in athletes in adolescenceperiod. Because the ossification of pelvis is notcompleted, apophyses are the weakest part of musculotendinousunit during this period, thus avulsion fracturesare more frequent than muscle ruptures. The fracture occursas a result of the pull of the straight head of the rectusfemoris muscle. Patients feel a severe pain localizedin groin, and cannot bear weight. With conservative treatmentincluding bed rest, analgesia, using crutches andtoe-touch weight bearing, progressing to full weight bearingas tolerated, satisfactory results could be obtained.We present a 14-year old boy with anterior inferior iliacspine fracture occurred in an uncommon manner.
