Abstract: Understanding the signaling cascade that leads to the rapid memory and cognitive breakdown in Alzheimer’s disease is the key to finding a potential treatment method for the disease. Recently, Larson et al. connect the roles of major proteins implicated in the disease progression and propose targeting of cellular prion protein (PrPc) as a way of someday rescuing synaptic plasticity in humans with Alzheimer’s, as it has been done on mice.

Abstract: As the number of patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) continues to rise throughout the twenty- first century, scientists are increasingly looking for remedies, although the cause and pathology of the disease remain uncertain. Among treatments for AD, there is a renewed interest in curcumin as a potential medication. Studies of the substance have found a large amount of consumption associated benefits, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Its wide healing properties make it increasingly interesting to scientists, with potential uses in the treatment of cancers, arthritis, various cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. More recently, curcumin has been shown to have multipotent effects against various symptoms of AD. Among other things, curcumin has been able to ameliorate toxicity of beta-amyloid species, a key part of AD nuerodegeneration, in vivo and in vitro, and has been able to inhibit multiple parts along suspected AD pathology. The goal of this review is to summarize the research done on curcumin with respect to its applicability as a treatment for AD and AD related pathology.

Abstract: As a kind of finance innovation for direct lending between individuals, P2P develops rapidly in recent ten years. However, while it is promoting China’s economic development, various problems related to P2P network credit and loan are appearing gradually. If P2P wants to develop continuously, the core is to strengthen the risk management. Based on the analysis of the concept, model and positive significance of P2P network credit and loan, this paper mainly expounds the credit risks, information risks, operational risk, regulatory and legal risks and liquidity risk that P2P network credit and loan faces, and comes up with the solutions to these problems, for example, setting up the credit system, perfecting internal control as well as strengthening supervision and industrial self-regulation, combining big data technology. These present some new ideas of performing risks management for P2P.

Abstract: This paper presents a new conception—ecological tunnel, which is contrived to meet increasingly tough challenges in the 21st century. Ecological tunnel refers to integrating ecological principles into tunnel design, construction and operation in order to create a balanced and sustainable tunnel-nature system. It consists of four elements: green tunneling, green lighting, green lining, and green recycling of excavated material. The conception, function and implementation of each part are elaborated in the paper. In addition, computer visualization technique is applied to simulate complicated internal conditions of an ecological tunnel.
Functional Conservation of the Drosophila gooseberry Gene and Its Evolutionary Alleles

Abstract: The Drosophila Pax gene gooseberry (gsb) is required for development of the larval cuticle and CNS, survival to adulthood, and male fertility. These functions can be rescued in gsb mutants by two gsb evolutionary alleles, gsb-Prd and gsb-Pax3, which express the Drosophila Paired and mouse Pax3 proteins under the control of gooseberry cis-regulatory region. Therefore, both Paired and Pax3 proteins have conserved all the Gsb functions that are required for survival of embryos to fertile adults, despite the divergent primary sequences in their C-terminal halves. As gsb-Prd and gsb-Pax3 uncover a gsb function involved in male fertility, construction of evolutionary alleles may provide a powerful strategy to dissect hitherto unknown gene functions. Our results provide further evidence for the essential role of cis-regulatory regions in the functional diversification of duplicated genes during evolution.
The Deformation of Poincaré Subgroups Concerning Very Special Relativity

Abstract: We investigate here various kinds of semi-product subgroups of Poincar\'e group in the scheme of Cohen-Glashow's very special relativity along the deformation approach by Gibbons- Gomis-Pope. For each proper Poincar\'e subgroup which is a semi-product of proper lorentz group with the spacetime translation group T(4), we investigate all possible deformations and obtain all the possible natural representations which inherit from the $5-d$ representation of Poincar\'e group. We find from the obtained natural representation that rotation operation may have additional accompanied scale transformation in the case of the original Lorentz subgroup is deformed and the boost operation get the additional accompanied scale transformation in all the deformation cases. The additional accompanied scale transformation has strong constrain on the possible invariant metric function of the corresponding geometry and the field theories in the spacetime with the corresponding geometry.
The Finsler Type of Space-time Realization of Deformed Very Special Relativity

Abstract: We investigate here all the possible invariant metric functions under the action of various kinds of semi-direct product Poincar\'e subgroups and their deformed partners. The investigation exhausts the possible theoretical frameworks for the spacetime realization of Cohen-Glashow's very special relativity and the deformation very special relativity approach by Gibbons-Gomis-Pope. Within Finsler-Minkowski type of spacetime, we find that the spacetime emerge a Finsler type of geometry in most cases both for undermed Poincar\'e subgroup and for deformed one. We give an explanation that the rotation operation should be kept even in a Lorentz violating theory from geometrical view of point. We also find that the admissible geometry for $DTE3b$, TE(2), ISO(3) and ISO(2,1) actually consists of a family in which the metric function vary with a freedom of arbitrary function of the specified combination of variables. The only principle for choosing the correct geometry from the family can only be the dynamical behavior of physics in the spacetime.

In recent years, with the “Internet ” action plan put forward by the state, “Internet industry” has been widely used in various industries, especially in the country. With the encouragement of the “Internet traffic” innovative form, the Internet rental car industry is developing rapidly. Therefore, the establishment of a network-based car rental management system is conducive to improving the operational capacity of enterprises to meet the needs of industry development. The system is mainly based on j2EE, mainly using struts 2 Spring hibernate and other frameworks, using MyEclipse as a development tool, MYSQL as a database, Macromedia Dreamweaver as a tool for interface beautification, and using JAVA language development. The page adopts JSP dynamic page development technology. The system has simple interface, easy operation and easy maintenance.

Abstract: Aiming at solving the problem that big differ-ence exists between logging permeability and true permeability of micro-fractured low-permeability sand reservoir, this paper puts forward a new method to revise logging per-meability by using primiparity data of oil field. This method has been successfully applied to revise logging permeability of micro-fractured low-permeability sand reservoir in Baiyushan area of Jing’An oil field, which shows that the method is reliable because the geological model building through the permeability which has been handled by this method accords with the real reservoir significantly.
Geometric Approximation Searching Algorithm for Spatial Straightness Error Evaluation  [PDF]

Abstract:

Considering the characteristics of spatial straightness error, this paper puts forward a kind of evaluation method of spatial straightness error using Geometric Approximation Searching Algorithm (GASA). According to the minimum condition principle of form error evaluation, the mathematic model and optimization objective of the GASA are given. The algorithm avoids the optimization and linearization, and can be fulfilled in three steps. First construct two parallel quadrates based on the preset two reference points of the spatial line respectively; second construct centerlines by connecting one quadrate each vertices to another quadrate each vertices; after that, calculate the distances between measured points and the constructed centerlines. The minimum zone straightness error is obtained by repeating comparing and reconstructing quadrates. The principle and steps of the algorithm to evaluate spatial straightness error is described in detail, and the mathematical formula and program flowchart are given also. Results show that this algorithm can evaluate spatial straightness error more effectively and exactly.
