Abstract:
In order to solve the difficulty of the arrangement of ore production at each mine site during the transition from open pit to underground mining in Shirengou iron mine. Taking the largest amount of mining as the objective function, each deposit storage capacity, ore dilution rate, ore loss rate and grade as the constraints, thus the linear programming model was established and solved by lingo considering the balance between reserve and production ratio. The optimal number of each mining area mining was obtained, providing a theoretical basis for raising the overall economic benefits of mining transition period.

Abstract: General principles of eco-slope-engineering in embankment engineering are discussed. Geomechanical effects of eco-slope-engineering are analyzed especially. The roots are taken as friction piles according to the mechanical pattern of root piles,and the constitutive model for computation of the slopes strengthened by deep-thick roots is suggested based on the mechanical equilibrium conditions. Several new techniques in this field are introduced.

Abstract: Vibration signals of reciprocating compressor mainly include multiple impact and noise signals, traditional fault diagnosis approaches could not reveal the fault feature accurately. In this study, a novel notion of general frequency is proposed and some simulation signals are used to compare its performances with the traditional frequency and the instantaneous frequency. Based on the notion, an adaptive peak decomposition approach is investigated and applied to the fault diagnosis of vibration signal for reciprocating compressor gas valve in four states including normal valve state, gap valve state, fractured valve state and bad spring valve state. The results show the effectiveness and the superiority of the proposed approach in extracting the fault feature of reciprocating compressor.
A Novel Pattern Recognition Approach Based on Immunology

Abstract: Artificial Immune System (AIS) inspired from Biological Immune System was widely used in many fields. In this research work, a novel pattern recognition approach was proposed based on AIS. In process of antigen epitopes recognition in antibody, it was actually combination between corresponding chemical bonds. The recognition rate was correlated positively with combination forces of chemical bonds. The pattern recognition algorithm was tested using famous benchmark Fishers Iris data and wine data. Preliminary results demonstrated that the new approach had better performances comparing to other pattern recognition methods.

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate an accelerated version of the discrete-time Jacobi waveform relaxation iteration method. Based on the well known Chebyshev polynomial theory, we show that significant speed up can be achieved by taking linear combinations of earlier iterates. The convergence and convergence speed of the new iterative method are presented and it is shown that the convergence speed of the new iterative method is sharper than that of the Jacobi method but blunter than that of the optimal SOR method. Moreover, at every iteration the new iterative method needs almost equal computation work and memory storage with the Jacobi method, and more important it can completely exploit the particular advantages of the Jacobi method in the sense of parallelism. We validate our theoretical conclusions with numerical experiments.

Abstract: In view of research and application, the multiwave and mullicomponent seismic exploration is a very efficient and promising technique during exploration and development of offshore oil and gas. The geologic correlation of multiwave and mullicomponent seismic data is the most important and fundamental work. We reviewed and developed a series of horizon correlation methods applicable for offshore P-and S-wave data according to the characters of the multi-wave seismic data acquired in Yinggehai Basin. This paper will describe the method in detail.

Abstract: In the same volume, a group led by Rafi Ahmed discovered that inhibition of mTOR by rapamycin independently boosted the quantity and quality of memory CD8 T cells [2]. This discovery was confirmed by an RNA interference technique which knocked down the mTOR pathway. Another group led by Young Choi found that rapamycin extends memory T cell generation and survival by regulating mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation and induces AMP-activated kinase activity [3]. These increased memory T cell responses may account for the increased lifespan of the mice receiving rapamycin. This hypothesis needs to be tested.
